Compendium Living recently opened the doors to a new show apartment and view-home on our popular Castleward development.
We invited partners from Derby City Council, Riverside, Lovell, Homes England and D2N2 to join us at the launch event. The show homes are located on Phase 3 of this development in Derby, a phase consisting of 82 new properties. These include a range of apartments and duplex houses, 55 for open market sale and 27 affordable homes for Riverside.
Councillor Nadine Peatfield, Cabinet Member for City Centre, Regeneration, Culture and Tourism, cut the ribbon along with Bruce Lister, Managing Director of Compendium Living. Attendees also had a tour of the two-bedroom show apartment and view-home before they were opened to the public.
Bruce Lister said: “We are very proud to have officially opened the third phase of Castleward with our partners. This regeneration scheme demonstrates the benefits partnership working brings the local economy and community. It is truly revitalising an underused area and offering a variety of high-quality homes.
“Compendium Living are investing heavily in Derby and in transforming this former brownfield site into an exciting, sustainable community. It is brilliant to be celebrating this milestone with our partners on what is a very important project for us.”

This is a major regeneration project for Derby, providing an attractive and welcoming gateway to the city centre. It is a key area of the city with education facilities, retail space and high-quality accommodation.
