Ryan Cook, the local apprentice bricklayer working on our Ings development in Hull, has won the Young Builder of the Year award for 2015 in the national awards organised by Youthbuild UK.
These awards celebrate young people who have overcome challenges to achieve a career in construction, and Ryan, who is employed by our contracting partner Lovell, was chosen from over 100 nominees across the country. He received his award in a ceremony at the House of Commons in London last week, and in addition to the trophy, went home with £1000 in tools vouchers and £500 cash to spend.
